Salary is not upto the market standards, and the variable component is a maze. Indian leaders sucks, no ethics, very stressful culture.

Great Brand name globally. Excellent company values, every employee will feel respected and equally treated, irrespective of their position. Technology driven. Lots of care towards employees. Work from home. Unlimited sick leaves.

...r the company goes through a re-structure, and be ready to pack up at anytime. Less salary as compared to market standards and competitors. The overall compensation structure looks good, but the actual facts will be shocking. You will never get the variable (so called bonus), as the industry is going towards downward trend. India management is complete failure. No strategy, and very much miss-managed, and doesn't stands up to the company values and ethics. Most of the line managers are very much ill cultured. Lots of favoritism. No standard policies for employees in India locations. Medical Insurance support is just disaster, and very very expensive.

...tly if continuous re-organisation happens and time taken for reorg is that long. Potential salary decrease for indian employees by salary restructuring exercise, this is very unique seeing the inflation in india.

Work life balance is good On some point employee centric company Some people are very nice and supportive There are couple of benefits like travelling in business class and term insurance which are good and worth mentioning it. Flexible on timing, but given the ongoing chances not sure how long will it stay same Concerned about female employees and very beneficial

Alot after so many reorganization. Work culture is getting worse day by day since they hired left and right without considering their key criteria Lot of favouritism and in the name of networking they are making you bootlicker If you have references (network) then you can grow irrespective how bad or good are you in your job role and skill set Double standards on promotions Anything related to finance is made too complex so that you can’t understand even your pay slip is confusing Worst insurance - amount is too less Literally not using the cutting edge technologies just publishing it Core values degraded In the name of diversity inclusion, they are hiring female candidates without considering skill set, i support woman empowerment but doesn’t mean you remove fair platform Don’t get fooled with big CTC, you don’t get everything I know people think of Shell and think big organzation with good package but this is not the case now atleast for technical roles. Shell used to be employee centric and charming company now it lost all the charm and become typical service based company with pathetic attitude. Shell is master of disguise, they know how to market and lure people but reality is different now so be cautious before joining . Once you get then you are trapped. Rest choice is yours
