...ps from the Acquisition team with no increments & zero recognition to employees. MOJ's decline had begun in early 2022 itself when they've shifted from Fixed Pay model to Revenue share, each top creator used to earn 2-3Lakhs for a fixed no. of deliverables per month, once the creator had stopped receiving fixed pay they ceased posting on the platform resultantly, there was no new content on the platform. Content Quality sucks. Like any other business, they have penetrated into the market through third parties offering attractive payments for the creator & reached a saturation point since Aug 2022. The revenue share model was really a good move to maintain platform hygiene

It's compensation in terms of salary.

There is no work life balance. Even if we work till 8 they ask us to work till 10 and will tell that if you do like this only you will get promotion otherwise you will not get. Even if we complaint about our reporting head to the higher authorities there will be no action against them. It's such a biased people company who are hiring like these kind of people. Because of those people...They made me voluntarily resign from my position and didn't even pay the compensation on time.

Used to be a place where there was a lot of opportunity to learn and grow professionally, around great people. Creativity and innovation was encourage and supported, and exposure was brilliant. Work-life balance was real and team members worked cohesively. (Keyword is ‘WAS’)

...eople are relevant right now. Even with money not coming in for months & months. - Cost-cutting in every manner is the only constant. - There is barely any functional dynamic between and in teams due to lack of resources and panic about layoffs.

Toxic work culture. Ridiculous management. No hike, No promotion. Full of favouritism. Managers are doing monopoly. Only favourites and shoe lickers were promoted and saved during lay off. There was one manager who was handling team very well. But suddenly a senior manager came and destroyed everything. He targeted few senior employees who were fearless, dedicated during work. One senior QA was very friendly with us. He was having lot of personal issues but still was giving his best in work. But he also got laid off along with manager without any promotion. Manager was asking us about us complaint about him so that he could stop his promotion and hike. It was so cheap in a well established company. Other few senior QAs were also so good. But manager started targeting them and pushed his personal favourites who were average in work. As a result, good people were kicked out, few resigned and few left through lay off. No HRs did any investigation. Even I got laid off just because he wanted to keep a contractual girl in the project. After observing the downfall of the team with in 2 years, I must say that this company is not good for QAs. They have use and throw policy. So please dont join this company for the sake of salary hike. they will destroy your career.

...e created are just clones of Instagram and Tiktok. Micro management by seniors. No hike or change of designation. Designation is not given based on experience. When they receive any funding they hire aggressively and when they run out of funds they fire employees the very next day. There is zero job stability. Join this company only if you are fresher and ready to get fired any moment. They tempt you with huge ESOP(stock options) in the beginning. You should know you can never encash them by selling because only if the company decides to buy back you get some amount, which never happens. "You are not performing as expected" is the usual excuse used by the company to fire employees. The labour laws in the country should be changed strictly to stop such malpractices. Given a choice to choose between a start up and an MNC, please join any MNC. MNC always has job stability compared to these short shelf life start up's.
