...upportive and the management is transparent. There is huge cafeteria and gaming. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

There is lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issue.

Salary,salary increment is good for lower levels employees,5 year experienced engineers getting 25-30k.Its not enough to live singles,So how to live as a family man

...olkata Laboratory here the teammates are very helpful. SGS is a good brand name. Salary and other dues clear on time. You will face different kinds of problems and learn many things.

After joining here you will search for new job after 1 month. Every employees are here searching for jobs. There is no job security. You have to work almost 12-14 hrs in a day without any extra benefits. You have to work on sundays/holidays(Not the Work from home) without any remunerations. In every month you have to face different kind of audits like local audit, national audit, TG audit etc. and for all the audits there was different kind of formats. The company policy is to sack 2-3 employee in a year so after getting the employee of the year award he was discontinued from the work in the next month. Here the lab head also sacked in a one day notice specifically in Kolkata laboratory. In every 6 months the employees are changed. The lab manager Mr. Dutta always trying to demotivate you and behave with all the employees like a servant but he is the only employee who is survived as his main job description is oiling the Global heads. You will also not getting the written bonus as in every year will get the letter that you are under performed. The yearly increment is also very poor.

In this organization I have got learnings and good training but apart from this there is no hike are growth perspective in this v.much poor growth opportunities and about work Environment it's good traveling is quite hectic .

It's one of the Best organization as I have ever worked with good learning and work Environment about hike of salary ,benefits ,innvations , it was just superb and I have Enjoyed alot working with it

Job security is very low , your salary may reduce after joining . Most of the Engineers working on fixed term retainer ship contract . there are no designations to most of the Engineers they are only retainers not an employ . as there is no designation no quotations arise of promotions. for the employ on contract treatment is not good what ever you do for company you will always treat as retainer only.
