No words to explain the experience about Schlumberger during the working styles on Rigs & Base. We learned so many things because people coming from different locations.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, But growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, i have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as i have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. As per my point of view, Credit will obviously goes to reporting manager. We won't get any appreciations and all. Politics are too high. Always we need to do bhajan for our superiors.

...free food : breakfast,lunch, snacks n dinner. 2. Lot of eclaims n mediclaims 3. Good salary 4. Stable job 5. Good Work life balance 6. Flexible work hours 7. Wfh/who blue flex policy 8. MNC, collaboration with international colleagues. 9. Business trips to foreign countries 10. Multiple special interest groups and communities for skill development n learning purpose

Dislikes

1. Corporate Politics 2. Future of company being in Oil n Gas 3. Lack of skill development opportunities in work 4. Promotion methods ( 1 year stay in one grade, SETC n extra project policy to get promoted) 5. Less increment ( barely 7-10% )

It’s getting worse day by day. Hiring fresh outs and removing experienced people.

Culture is getting worse. Cost cutting in every single thing. Hard to manage my work life balance. Unrealistic expectations for work and delivery.

1. No career growth after certain level in testing 2. Testing management is worst 3. Too much work load 4. Unrealistic expectations without support

Good work life balance and perks. Environment friendly office culture. Self paced promotion. Free food.

Dislikes

High discrimination in compensation if you are from Tier 3 college and it keeps on increasing as you grow in the organisation with grade change promotions.
