There is nothing to like about this bank. Bank has horrible working environment and there is no hr.

Dislikes

Sbm bank has negative image in the market, also not having products and services to cater the client base. Culture is horrible. I seen senior people enjoying revenue from fixed customer who was associated to the bank in bank's earlier time. No new business generating, highly paid seniors are looting the bank. Bank has no vision so very soon u will get some news abt the bank. Obviously not positive

Support function. People are old in system and they don’t want to work. Sales team is good at very product but here credit people are not good they just want rest

You can enjoy only if you have your supervisor support and lazy people also can easily survive. but don't expect any hike, promotion and incentives.

The incentive structure is worst being in sales, operations job is good as comparatively. You won't get any appreciation and lazy management to action when it comes to employee's problem.

The employees at Senior level are highly insure in their jobs. Management is poor. Bank is 100% dependent on vendors for work.Being WOS(wholly owned subsidiary) the Bank is just enjoying the capital from State Bank of Mauritius. Neither they have any self identity nor they want to build one. If you are Career minded, this is a warning signal for you because you will end up screwing your career if you join. HR is absolutely useless and arrogant with no moral values.
