New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

...rrible. They will promise with this and that during joining but nothing is true. They don't provide salary on time, no other employee benefits. There is no job security,You can be expelled at any time.

Nothing much to say except that .....probably one of the most rubbish and third class companies to work with.

I beg your pardon but I am bound to say that no feedback might prove enough as constructive for the future of the company because the culture administration and the social status of the company is already damaged right from the inception and I m afraid that there's hardly any chance for improvement of the same atleast till the time the present MD and head of the company is there.

The only thing worthy of mentioning about SAPCO BITUMEN CO LIMITED is the location of the company's factory which is very good in terms of communication. Specially since lying very closer to the capital city of West Bengal, Kolkata the communication both with road (NH-6) and railway is really fine and very much convenient both for local as well as outside candidates.Otherwise till date I haven't come across with a single company having such a nasty and unhealthy , unethical and unsecured culture where there is no guarantee of even a single fact...for example starting from drinking a glass of water till the life of an employee.

Working with sapco bitumen company is like working in a shop of saree. They can terminate your job any time. You can become jobless in any span of your carrer. In addition no PF, ESI facility, you will not receive salary on time. Its just only a saree official shop cum office.
