1) Now an MNC (under the aegis of HCL) 2) Experienced People, quality talents, and highly efficient workforce 3) the work is also interesting for VLSI enthusiasts and the experience is quite demanding 4) Gives chances to Freshers to work in a VLSI industry and develop skills 5) has an office in KOLKATA, the city of joy 6) Layoffs are rare ( mainly because of Talent crunch)

Dislikes

1) Salary, perks, and Benefits are all-time Low and not attractive 2) Heavy Bond amount and bond year for freshers 3) Complete mismanagement in offer letter Generation and onboarding after its acquisition by HCL, HRs are useless. 4) Health Insurance scheme in HCL is the WORST so far. 5) High Attrition Rate because of which training does not take place systematically 6) Employees get appraisal after 1 year and 2 months 7) 90 days notice period 8) No Onsite or Foreign Opportunities 10) Lack of Cross-skilling opportunity

There would be a service agreement of 3yearsvand 3 month of 5 l.Salary is not as per the industry standard. Probation period would be 6 to 9 months depending on the College. Hcl management will not address your issue at right time. Benefits are worst in the industry I would say .helath insurance doesn't include your parents.

Likes

Sankalp started with great vision and mission doing cutting edge work from second tier cities. Leadership passion was visible and attracted and nurtured best talents.

Dislikes

...hopping than creating domain expertise, technical skills and innovation culture. Mid level managers who were treated as partners in the earlier days were made as mere execution engines without compensation benefits and shares or equivalent partner benefits. This made most of the founders and mid-level-management to leave sankalp in just couple of years of transition timeframe.

Likes

Immediate termination of no projects. It's a consultancy company they hire candidates and outsource. Not recommended for seniors. No job security.

No job security. Contarct to hire and consulting company

Good work environment; work-life balance is reasonable. Beiing a service provider an opportunity to work at different companies.

Dislikes

Skill / career development is limited as projects are driven by customer needs, and usually second rung work gets assigned to subcontractors. Constraints in terms of budget allocation - impedes many activities.
