Be good at speaking, get better hikes. Soft firing by demoralizing the employee. I am an ex employee, 1 year 6 months was a nightmare for me there. Everyone inside is suffocating its a vicious cycle once u have a bad leader u will never be able to retain someone who can give their life to your business. Basically blr team works like a service based company, They will always want to make you work for 18 hours, tbt i felt my manager wanted me to feel like a daily wage worker. I was at lowest point of my life. They wont provide any documentation but still expect you to know about their product. There are just 5 managers instead of contributing for the company by working, they do pitty politics. If in the worst case ur joining the company join with an exit plan. STRICT NO to the joining recommendation.

People are very helping and it feels like second family. Learning opportunities is good but varies from team to team Data plane is best.

Dislikes

lunch in pantry is monitored (get more food if it is not enough don’t monitor the portion) Some team can be very toxic in term of work life mostly DM team.

Skill development and learn to work independently.

Senior member expect that a new employee is joining with all the skill set so that it can work on the items given from the first day without any help. Also multiple context switching is more for individual between multiple projects in very few timeline which doesn't help individual learning.

The work culture at sandvine is very toxic. It's not a professionally managed company. Company's software was used by belurusian dictator to curb internet. Advice : don't join the company .there are hundreds of other good companies

Work culture. Everything is in hands of management.HR is just mouthpiece . They had a layoff in 2019 and there are no more good use cases of their product .So less opportunities to grow .

Ex service employees have ruined the company culture. Frequent during and cheap politics will drown this company. The directors and managers here are horrible. Be really careful before joining.

Politics, culture, management, no career growth, inefficient senior manager
