The company gives opportunity to widen your horizons and learn things outside your core domain. The management is open to new ideas and approachable.

Dislikes

... you should stretch beyond the usual working hours and the pressure is too high. There is no compensatory off or compensation for all the extra work hours or work on holidays too. Alternate Saturdays are off but we end up working on all Saturdays. Career growth is also too slow.

...et the satisfaction of associating with a noble cause by working with Samunnati. The compensation is at par with the industry. Work culture is very flexible and the kind of opportunities and empowerment to employees are tremendous. Any body irrespective of hierarchies are motivated to take initiatives / take up assignments based on their choice and this helps them with job satisfaction resulting in increased productivity and contribution to the company. The CEO and HR leads by example and sets benchmarks motivating others to follow....

Excellent top management, most of them are ex-bankers / industry veterans with rich experience, most of them are very approachable. Wonderful people. Vibrant atmosphere.

Dislikes

Appraisal process could be improved to make people of similar skills / knowledge levels / experience being paid at a comparable salary range. This will help motivate employees who were earning lesser pay for various reasons (excluding performance, skill, attitude related issues etc.,) and improves talent retention. Activities which are not relevant for core function, soft skills development, personal development etc., could be reduced which could help improve the work life balance

Good for people with few experience, provides a lot of scope for learning and improving, wonderful salary structure and gives an insight into rural banking for new passouts from MBA, B.Com and other agriculture background students, wonderful company culture and job security

Dislikes

Continuously changing IT and HR structures. In one month, we have to submit via loans via mail, in the second month it was app based. When we had successfully transitioned to app based dealings, technicalities changed regarding compensation of travel, and so on. However, I adapted to everything and this doesn't count as a reason for my exit.
