The work culture at RGU is extremely challenging, with a lack of professional ethics and teamwork. Employees are often overburdened as responsibilities are frequently passed around without clear ownership. Hardworking individuals may find themselves taking on additional tasks without recognition or support. The expectation to arrive an hour before official start time and leave two hours late adds to the stress. Growth opportunities are limited, with annual increments typically ranging from ₹500 to ₹5,000, and there is little to no appreciation for efforts or achievements. Career advancement seems to depend more on office politics and favoritism rather than merit or performance. Team collaboration is minimal, as most individuals prioritize self-preservation over supporting colleagues. Overall, while RGU focuses on maintaining a strong public image, the internal work environment leaves much to be desired. I would recommend exploring other opportunities for a better professional experience.

Teaching students give a sense of happiness if you like to teach. Otherwise the schedule is hectic but there is no overtime work so work life balance is maintained.

Lack of proper visionary of the university. There is no centralised system and as a result redundancy of work prevails everywhere. Also job security is a reason. Growth of career is almost zero.
