The work culture at RGU is extremely challenging, with a lack of professional ethics and teamwork. Employees are often overburdened as responsibilities are frequently passed around without clear ownership. Hardworking individuals may find themselves taking on additional tasks without recognition or support. The expectation to arrivean hour before official start time and leave two hours late adds to the stress. Growth opportunities are limited, with annual increments typically ranging from ₹500 to ₹5,000, and there is little to no appreciation for efforts or achievements. Career advancement seems to depend more on office politics and favoritism rather than merit or performance. Team collaboration is minimal, as most individuals prioritize self-preservation over supporting colleagues. Overall, while RGU focuses on maintaining a strong public image, the internal work environment leaves much to be desired. The admission department is worst, where apart from the Admission department other all department remains closed on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturdays, at what time we can come back from the office is not fixed. Sometimes we come back at evening 5 o'clock. Most of the time it after 5 pm. We don't get paid for the overtime we do whichis all the 12 months and for Sundays that we have to go and work during the peak admission time which is from the month of February to September. The so called senior people, the only thing which they can do perfectly precisely without any mistake Politics,the dirty useless politics they can do. They will make your personal life hell, because those senior people doesn't have their own personal life, They cannot see happy in your personal life also. The boss over there. Her name is Gurpreet Kaur Anand. She has the worst attitude, she abuses mentally and emotionally her much much much Junior people using very abusive slangs and more things. Who genuinely cares about their self respect will not be able to survive there more than a year. I don't know how I survived there for 1 year, what I wish I could've left that place much earlier. The toxic trait a company can have is hiring new people every year and that exact toxic trait is present at Royal global University specially in the admission department every year. Lots of people leave every year. They hire new people and same cycle every year and has been going on from so many years, so I would like that you speak up against the toxic culture that has been going on behind the scenes in the admission department, raising voice is very important. And about the salary the maid that is working in 1-2 house for about 4 hrs in a entire day is earning more than the job that you will be doing in the admission department.
