New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

If you get late for office you can compensate your time by staying and working for the lost time, but that's also limited to 2 hours, beyond that half day salary will be deducted

Dislikes

...ts- day and night, night gets to work only 5 days while day shift works 6 days. No employee benefits like diwali bonus or party, we have to pay for ourselves to eat in a party. Boss is really greedy, he'll kick his experienced employees if he gets a better deal for another employee who is ready to work for lower salary

They hire freshers on low salary and fire anytime without any notice, also you won't get any hike for sure. They changes their policies on daily basis and expect to work after working hours without any extra benefit. Worst work culture and unethical management. This company doesn't deserve even a single star. If you are ready to work as slave for money or you don't have any other offer then this is the best company for you.
