New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Well.. Honestly, I can recommend Reventum for employee satisfaction. I am getting good salary here and made placement too. My managers and leads are down to earth. I was doubtful to ask questions at first but now everyone in this office is good friend and helps a lot.

Not dislike but I would suggest that the company should take team outing every 2-3 months.

Dislikes

Very poor management, no job security, no benefit, everything they say is a lie. They will keep you in job as long as you get placements, once you stop getting placement they will fire you. They don't recognize talent. Basically its all luck if you get placement you have the job, if don't have placement they fire you right away without giving notice. No free dinner, no transportation, no organized way of doing things. Very immature of handling things and work flow by the management.

I left reventum in March 2021. It was amazing experience working with staffing leaders in this company. Most of the other staffing companies will make you lazy as per my experience. But here you will be always super charged.
