...gers are always put under microscope and being asked to reward substandard work. No reward for middle managers and way feedbacks are handled is not professional Pay is substantially varied across department, a Manager pay is given for a 5-yr experienced analyst and no parity on this

Elsevier is a good pay master with rich employee friendly culture. Policies and benefits are great and company makes sure that you have work life balance.

Dislikes

Learning opportunity is limited, due to captive environment and limited level of hierarchy, vertical growth is restricted but it depends on your satisfaction level, I personally don't see it as a disadvantage.

Work life balance is the best I had in my 15 years of career. Work culture is such that no one would yell or use any harsh words at you even if you are at fault They are striving to be best in ensuring Diversity and inclusion.

After joining, people will not give any handover and from the day one they will be expecting you’ll work like their previous employee without understanding anything
