I was so excited that I appointed as assistant professor ,but the really face of University I saw after one month .
They starts holding my salary without any reason , deducting my salary with no reason, for which I complaint to registrar , vc ,hod over there, but no one listening to my issues . Not only faculty from different departments facing same problem. Even I was suffered from juindice and university hold my salary of 4 months ,I daily mailed them please give my salary so that I can take proper treatment, but same they do nothing .
You can watch on YouTube about the raya bahra University.
Same problem with their shimla campus issues over there facing by faculty.
Please it's my request to all dare to join this fraud University .
Even CM of Punjab and DM of mohali very well know about all this but University having political approach. They also not listen our issue.
I spend weeks there by eating parle-g only in while day .
I don't want that the problem I faced over there other also face them .
So please research before join there.
All above issues are true .
There is nothing to like about such organisations where there is no scope for your career growth, , where except teaching you are forced to perform non-teaching activities, where norms are not followed, People without UGC teach there and even paid more salaries than those who are UGC qualified, Students are given bait( like if you do PG course from the University itself u will be placed here),such institutions discourage the academicians to grow further as they pay them a meagre amount, they just don't specify the proper terms and conditions and even also have the tendency to not issue the faculties their experience certificates, how can they pay such a minute amount to Assistant professors just 20K , serious candidates devoted all their life to crack such exams just for the sake of earning 20K , is this a joke ? if such institutions can't have the capacity to hire faculties on good terms of remuneration they are just burden on the society, they took the advantage of demand and supply phenomenon.
There is no orientation and training programmes for faculties, Faculties are not encouraged to do reasearch activities, as the seniors who designate themselves as Associate Professors and Professors even they are clueless in aspect of undertaking research activities, I wonder why these institutions not follow the norms and why the teams which are responsible for taking care of such things are not imposing harsh penalties on these institutions.
Such institutions work like rackets where their sole purpose is to exploit the faculties.
Even the students and the staff do not have proper access to basic facilities like neat and tidy water cooler facilities, rooms are not properly equipped with modern required technologies like audio- visual projectors , they do have white boards but the onus of buying the markers is on faculties as some departments may run in huge debts (sarcasm) if they incur the cost of such stationery items. Even the worse is if your department organises some function be it celebration of Earth day, environment day etc. and your department wants to invite some chief guest ( so called chief guests ) then faculty is expected to bring refreshments from their respective houses to honor such guest ( like some faculties will bring snacks, some will bring packet of cookies as per the requirement and many more ) like the departments don't have proper funds to take care of such petty issues.
Fans are not properly functioning in faculty rooms, no provision of air conditioners even coolers ( to survive during Summers when temperature generally rose to 42-43).
Head of departments fleece the students by charging them more so that their personal interests got fulfilled.
In short there is nothing to like about this institution, joining such institutions is waste of time. I advice not to join such institutions. Don't get trap in their vicious circle. Just believe in yourself you have done nothing wrong to be a part of such institutions. Try somewhere else where you are valued.
They have good management and security clean environment...jobs isn't secure for invigilators
