I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. What has been the experience: a person is appointed to deliver some needs of the company at any particular time, if the person works seriously and sincerely and fulfills the need of the company, after that the need diminishes and the man becomes redundant, no future and no proper utilization of the potential capability. Not open to innovation and adoption to tech, decision depend not on experts but people who do not have knowledge or experience but have company's trust. Not a professionally managed company.

Generally systems and procedures are not made or evolved, whatever little is in process of making is not followed, things are dealt on adhoc basis. No importance to job training as a result the seniors have to devote most of the times on guiding the lower levels. Commitments made are not generally adhered to.
