Paycheck is received on a timely basis as it is a regulated Bank. Good view from the building- you could see how the upper middle class actually lives.

Dislikes

Almost everything, cost cutting measures, no incentives, they expect you to do overtime work for no extra pay.

It will be a great learning experience for a fresher to join RAKBANK and also to grow simultaneously. RAKBANK will surely develop as better professional.

Only Salary is a matter of concern rest everything is alright.

It's OK, but got laid off just before the pandemic got worse. Didn't get any lay off package was sent on garden leave and was given my notice period salary which was for 3 month salary.

...ly. If you performed well and improved processes one would be suitably rewarded. Salary was good. Employees were encouraged to be forthcoming and innovative. For some key staff work life balance was tight since as I mentioned earlier we were a fast growing bank and it was expected. Regarding politics it was as in other organizations. Please note that I am commenting on the status around the year 2012

Dislikes

There was a disparity between the banking(front end) and back office departments. IT was not given due recognition where financial incentives were on offer. Even if IT had executed complicated projects such as data center relocation at minimal downtime and costs, there was not much appreciation of the scope of work done. This certainly was a big let down to those who really spent long hours.

Learning options by L&D team, Very few managers support and appreciate your efforts.

Appraisal process not recommended, Job security is not sure, Lack of connection between HR team and Staff which creates a distance and limited understanding about HR policies and procedures. Most of time line managers are advised to communicate the HR policies. It need to be improved. HR direct involvement can help organisation identify efficient talents.
