i am working here from dec. 2017 as a site engineer . the most sever thing in rvnl is job security and package that they paid to site engineers , altough rvnl is a miniratna psu under ministry of railways which have very wide scope in upcomming time. its HR team is wrost . my suggestion if u have time than prepare for some other job , if u dont have time and need job than u can join with rvnl hand where u take experiance from here and try to switch to other company for better package and wok balance.

...your offer letter. Career Growth - Basically you are on lease ;) so no Growth. Salary - Paid according to the work . Travel - Depends on Site location . But travelling will be too hectic considering the fact that there won't be good transportation facilities in remote areas. Sometimes you need to walk a lot. Politics - It will be there. Learning - Depends on your interest .. Work environment- Get Ready to work in heat not in AC. Innovation - No Work -life Balance - Not always. Overall - Not Recommended for Post Graduates or Graduates.

Work culture. Work Life balance horrible. Promotion is in darkness. No fixed rule for salary hike and promotion. Need to work like slave of officer. Everything related to work depends on officers if your control officer is good you can work without tension else every minute you will be in stress and tension. May more...

Job is not at all secured in this organisation for contractual employees. The way company is removing from Job is harassing to the young and talented engineers.
