Not a good organization to join on contract, their vendor is not organised, no regular salaries for contract people, they did not even provide proper payslips or experience letter to employees. Leadership team is not strong enough, basically they are a agency but they sale themselves as a service based organisation which is really misleading.

...ly an agency, but they mislead you and sell themselves as service based company. Very bad experience as a contractor, as they don't provide regular salary or payslips. They do not provide payslips to full time employees either, and payslips are not auto generated so other companies might consider them as fake. Be aware as they provide high salary just to get candidates to join then they cut large amount of tax without any proper law guidance.

Job security is concerned however haven't seen in India but in US laid off recently and every two or three years laid of past history.

management will make u feel like u r working in a shop, micro management, unnecesary threatening of losing job, no appraisals, top level people have no knowledge of the work they handle, employees are not supported during their tough times. and referals are only happening for management's knowns and relatives. they dont consider anyone else

I have joined Rackspace will less salary than I had a offer only because of Racker culture which is intentionally destroyed by recent leadership and within 1 year the whole company changed to a toxic work culture.

The office culture in Rackspace is good, atleast it was a year ago. Managers are supportive. Multiple resources and learning subscriptions are available, so we can help grow and expand our knowledge. Rackspace is transperant about it's finances so employees are aware how it's performing and where the funds are being utilised.

Dislikes

Compensation and appraisal is quite below average. Hoping to get a better appraisal next year. Office environment is gradually shifting more towards micro managing rather than appreciating the hard work done by employees.
