The office culture in Rackspace is good, atleast it was a year ago. Managers are supportive. Multiple resources and learning subscriptions are available, so we can help grow and expand our knowledge. Rackspace is transperant about it's finances so employees are aware how it's performing and where the funds are being utilised.

Dislikes

Compensation and appraisal is quite below average. Hoping to get a better appraisal next year. Office environment is gradually shifting more towards micro managing rather than appreciating the hard work done by employees.

Overall organisation is very good in terms of Salary and work-life balance and culture wise.

Dislikes

Learning opportunities are very limited specially in SOA team, work is monotonous that needs to be improved also management is not up to the mark

I only like the salary part.

...oring WFH model and 24*7 support model. Also no shift allowance for any shift. All together, one should only join Rackspace to hike their salary in market and leave the organization as soon as possible.

Lot of politics Manager knows employee salary ,lot of partiality on talented/hard working Rackers. India HR team/High management not resolved hardworking/talented Rackers Issues. UR rackers(Rackspace internal projects) still in-touch with previous vendors and share company info to vendors. Vendors also trying to join into Rackspace india with high salary with help of onsite team HR has no powers only managers controlling very thing and hire/ fire

Company is good there's no doubt in that.

Dislikes

This is a 24*7 company, with most of the projects are in same model. They won't pay you any night shift allowance, until and unless you're doing a permanent night shift. People who will do 4 to 5 night shifts or a bit more in a month, wont get NSA.
