New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

- so many Friday fun events - team work - health insurance consists your parents also - HR is supportive

Dislikes

- a true example of tech debt - you have to finish your task even it contains bugs - no standard project management tools are being used - bug tracking is all on excel - according to them introducing processes to the company will slowdown the progress - they showoff robotics and AI but nothing that that is there

We have good team at every dept and levels, Quay provides an excellent growth platform as an startup company. Here we have no politics all work environment, every one gets opportunity to showcase his talent and his/her innovative side. Quay want to be ahead in the market with its simple, out of the box business solution, simplification of technology for easy to use features. I am enjoying my work as Operations head and it is same for everyone.
