No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

persons lack education and talent can be on top positions.

Dislikes

Worst Company (Not even considered as a company) to work with. No Management & policies at all for employees, but when you ask something in your rights as an employee, they impose policies for that without having one. CEO of plant does not recognize anyone apart from his puppets. Top positions are offered to the persons attached like a leach from plant since eternity and are illiterate too. no clear designations, grades and hierarchy for employees. good people get recruited by False commitments from HR and get struck to save career. seriously plant is good, but culture is worst.
