New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Company policies and compensation provided are good. Some teams have a good culture.

Salary - Excellent

Dislikes

Culture is very micromanaged in some teams. People focus only on work and don't care about helping new employees too much. Learning is very little and people don't consider the ideas of new joiners very much as there are people who have made an intense dependency on the product.

No management and roadmap define by leadership

Dislikes

Everything, they hire talented people and fire before they complete their probation period so that they won’t pay for 3 months, Anyone from MNC should keep away from this company and recruiters otherwise you will come back and see my review again

Dirty politics, people like Amit, Divesh in product team and their leaders are making hell out of the world First they interview and then try not to dissolve anyone else other then them. You will make bigger mistake of your life if join this organisation with dream of staying in jaipur , be aware if you are family person you will remember this comment
