Very worst institution in tamilnadu....Very low salary... salary for assistant professor is 25000 only for PhD holders.... when you want to leave this institution, you must pay 3 months salary...Very worst A.O....He is doing cost cutting...He is talking very rude to the faculty...He is taking money from the faculty pocket and filled management pocket....No one is believe that PSG is functioning like this....but this is also private institution...

Nowadays daily wagers getting 1000 per day... when you want to leave this institution, you must pay 3 months salary ... very worst A.O...He is doing cost cutting...He is talking very rude with the faculty...He is talking money from the faculty pocket and filled management pocket...no one is believe that PSG is doing like this...This institution is functioning with the help of almuni only... soon this institution standard will go off, because of the principal and A.O....Many management thinking that they're doing cost cutting and fill up management pocket...But the truth is quality of the institution is getting damaged because of the stupid people

...y under SF category. A postgraduate is paid 23k p.m and a Ph.D. is paid 25k p.m. Management needs to revise salary to stay in its position.

Salary and benefits are Comparatively less than the other colleges, too much work politics, though you are eligible for promotions they are denied based on partiality, if you are looking for career advancement this is not the place to make money after a PHD.

My work mainly focuses on Research projects (i) Intelligent controlled wheelchair for severely disabled old people - In which the model is designed for Bluetooth control and through Electromyography signals in which electrodes are placed in shoulders(Right and Left movement) and forehead region(Forward and Backward movement). My role is to test the intelligent controlled wheelchair ie their operating conditions and preparing research proposal and to deliver the product to industry. (2)I designed power supply for 10A, 230v for one of the medical project implemented. (3) There is no salary appraisal but the work environment is good.Although am an Electrical Engineer I got an good exposure and learned more innovative ideas that too implemented in Biomedical Engineering field is a good experience.

According to my experience in the Biomedical field there is no dislikes to mention. I felt comfortable to work with the good people and implementing more innovative ideas. To improve my career growth in Electrical field Am doing full time PhD scholar(Research Area: Dedigning of Filter, Power Quality,Power Electronics) and am currently Completed one year PhD. Am trying to get a job in electrical / electronics field so that I will implement my knowledge in the innovative projects. If I get an job opportunity to work in a good company I will continue My Ph.D as part time.
