Chairman addressed all employees regularly. No delay in salaries.Even got money for buying sanitizer and masks. Allowed work from home during core lockdown periods, however some business entities opened before others

...And then you have a constant fear of losing job after getting warning letters. Salary at first glance seems good: Then you join and realize there is no Income Tax benefits like Transport Allowance/ Fuel Allowance/ Tution. No PF. Hence, you end paying a lot of Income Tax which means effective salary is less. Even managers are expected to travel by 2AC train. They follow a 10-hours work day. Only 1st and 3rd Saturday off. Which effectively means 60 hour work week! Most of my meetings with Senior happened post 8pm thats when he used to get time so work-life balance goes for a toss. Work Environment is not healthy as there are not set processes in place. People are seen as resources to be given work for their 10 hours which means if you seem free you will be given random tasks. If you say no it seems like again you may lose job at any time because everyone else says yes. The constant fear of losing job keeps everyone seem busy but the actual output is ofcourse limited because no processes. Departmentalized functions are very few. Rest everyone seems to do everything. Office Space: Office is situated in a dirty dilapilated building. Cramped office. Everytime you step out for some sense of space you have to log out which means your count of 10 hours get less. You need to take your lunch on your table or a common table. No cafeteria! They wont give your confirmation even after you complete your 3 months. No intimation of whether confirmed/ on probation. Nothing. But in case you put papers and want early release they will simply say you were not confirmed and effectively let go from the date of resignation.

You can learn a lot of things here. There is so much scope for one to develop new skills and international connections.

The location of office is really far and further the timing is also not good. You will find favoritism here which will surely hamper your growth. Too much interference of top management and job insecurity is always there. Sunday is working day which is also one of the biggest con of this organization.
