It is very good company for the electrical engineers i am working in this organisation since 1989 carrier and package is excellent and medical Facilities for dependents and self is unlimited.

Above average salary as per Indian Standards, good perks and bonuses, excellent medical facilities and big name in the market.

Dislikes

Employees are highly pressurized to complete work and work culture is terrible. Being an executive, there is no proper timing for work, you're supposed to be available 24/7. Availing leaves is difficult, along with remote areas of posting with no proper facilities. Higher management is often ignorant to your pleas even if they know they're genuine. HR department is the most terrible one here, it's almost non existent. They have never done any work that's related to Human Resource Management and they never treat other employees with respect. Transfers are done based on company's requirement mostly and rarely based on your preference. Overall, it is expected of you to completely sign up yourself as a highly paid slave.

...ings actual impact and change in people life, thus a sense of true satisfaction. Salary and perks for any engineer is better or at par with any other core company.

Site postings may be at a remote location and at time work pressure and target might for project executions can be seriously high not at all what is generally expected in a PSU

Dislikes

Management should implement board decision and GOI circular in reasonable time. Interview for promotion to GM and above may be organised properly so that employee should have less stress.

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and transmission incentive (PRP) every year.
