People working directly for Polygon and those hired for a project, had different experiences. In my opinion, people who are working in the Polygon ecosystem, lack in forming direct relationships with the parent company and mentors. A lot of intermediary entities come in between and a lot of information is not even conveyed. I was hired for one of the projects, but the moderator of the project kept interrupting in the work, despite the project founder liking and appreciating it. He went to an extent where he made sure no work was given to me and the project founder suddenly became unavailable. Despite multiple slack messages and constant pings about discussing work & other related stuff, the founder kept me at bay while he was interacting with all other team members. It was all started due to moderator's rigid approach and ultimately led to my unethical layoff wherein I was told to give the resignation and no termination letter was given to save on the severance. When I told them how i was constantly messaging & emailing my project founder and also that this was inappropriate & requested them to connect me to a senior manager, they turned it around and said that they didn't like my work. They made sure they break my confidence and also get an easy escape. I'm sure that the main Polygon team wasn't informed & still isn't aware of this case till date. It has reflected in a bad way in my CV and now hiring managers feel that I lack stability in jobs.
