New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. This company has been a disappointment. In my very first week, I was assigned tasks outside the job profile discussed during the interview—something I should have refused in hindsight. There is a clear lack of professionalism in how employees are treated, with an evident double standard. While a select few seem to enjoy special privileges and freedom, the rest of the team is left feeling undervalued and overworked.
