...in the system My friends are still working here but most of them are not happy. Performance assessment is off track and they don't want to pay but exploit work from people. Poor commitment, defensive attitude, no planning , they will not review your work and after client follows up they ll harass you, if you say anything to them then they ll take revenge including partner who does the same thing. Never fall in the trap of bonus they will never pay and will make you beg very much for the same and make more delay in paying your money and give excuse which will keep peddling for decisions from chennai office. Better to avoid such poor managed audit firms with no culture.

...air. Performance appraisal neither on time nor fair. A very arbitrary process. Even after performance appraisal is done, maybe even 6 months after it is due, that too after constant follow-up and begging by the employee concerned, the reflection in the salary ay take another 6 months and the next salary appraisal process starts and the entire mental stress/torture repeats again. HR has absolutely no voice and will refuse to follow-up with the management for increment. HR is even unaware of the date of performance evaluation for the employees. No policy as regards performance appraisal. No HR policy in place. No compliance with legal provisions such as POSH etc. EPF not available for employees. Salary takes 15 days to process. Sometimes longer. Employees are expendable. The company is run like a one man family firm and there is complete disregard for process and procedure. As there is no standard policy, favoritism plays a big part and every employee gets treated differently. No opportunity for career growth. Harassment of employees is common place and is even justified by HR and partners through unfair and purposeful negative feedback.

1.They have some reputed clients, which is an advantage to showcase on a CV. 2. A few people here are knowledgeable, professional, and good to learn from. I repeat, very few.

... over six months, which feels like a mental trap and adds unnecessary stress. 6. Salary Cuts During Covid: During Covid, salaries were cut drastically—up to 90%. They claimed clients weren’t paying or employees weren’t working enough hours, even though they knew the financial and mental struggles employees were facing. For two months, I received only ₹1,000 each month. 7. Negative Environment: The toxic work environment made me believe I wasn’t good enough. However, I now work at a top MNC in a good role, proving the issue wasn’t with me but with them. Their behavior impacted my mental health to the extent that I had to take a break from work to heal.

The firm does not have the policy to lay-off anyone. They will only torture you mentally till you leave by yourself.

- Toxic Work Environment - Salaries are never received on time, 12-15days time is taken from the salary cycle - Appraisal takes minimum 6months from the time it is due after promising to do it in time - Partners will never review on time, keep you waiting for days initially and last minute will ask you to work late nights - When working late nights, no facility is given for employee safety. Female employees are also not given any safe facility to reach home. - Without giving adequate team expect one person to complete all deliverables on time and keep working excess overtime everyday. Not willing to recruit as well. - All saturdays are full-day working, no leverage is given.

Earlier firm was not providing laptops to anyone, Joiners were asked to bring machines on their own cost for which firm was NOT paying anything. But recently (from last 1 / 2 years) firm started to provide laptop to all employees including new joiners.

Dislikes

... pandemic, firm expect cooperation from employees but itself don't cooperate. Salaries are delayed by 1 month since April 2020 salary till date. It means August salary paid in last week of September. Deductions upto 60% - 70%. Appraisals / Bonus stopped as of now (no clear timeline of revival.
