New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

There is two things.... Company doesn't provide any other benefits except salary. I have seen lots of people who worked as dealer last 15 to 20 years but no chance to grow for any other role.they just got the hike on salary if they do 5 times of their salary. Thanks.

Dislikes

Everything will depend on your boss, how he treats you. Very Kanjoos company. Every penny would be counted. As there is no system in place, your boss is only your future care taker.

Phillipcapital is really good for job stability. I am working here from last 14 years. Management really balance at the time of recession at with out loose any employee. I really grow with this company. I dislike the authoritative leadership they have in place. Look, I have many good ideas, and I tried to move them forward, trying to help the company. But from my position I am not allowed to suggest any improvements. I am supposed to follow the orders of my superior, and that's it.
