Dont have very high expectations on the package because again they have a variable component. The office campus is good with many cafeteria options people are good and helpful.

I am not going to speak about compensation here because definitely you all know and if you attend interview you will have an idea about the compensation they can provide. Again please don't have very high expectations like most of us are bagging offers now a days. 1) Philips doesn't follow any organisation process of documenting their products. 2) Tasy team - this team has presence in India and Brazil, however the work delegated to India team requires very minimal technical skills. You should have knowledge on plsql. 3) Brazil is the supreme team and does all the innovation. So your designation or work will be to just integrate their concepts nothing more. 4) talking of Tasy again the UI is build on angularjs older version and again you won't have to apply any brains here because you will not code or write any component. Just integrate and voila! 5) Tasy team- they have invented their own Agile process. So I think you can pretty well guess what I mean. 6) don't expect any documentation because they won't be able to provide. 7) forget about unit test cases or LDAP concepts, they are still working on it. Basically it's trying to become a tech industry with the name innovation. 8) internal switch requires managers approval which you will never get unless manager is given a notice to dissolve the team. 9) micromanagement in Tasy team not sure about others. 10) if you work on defect tickets then you have to document who introduced the defect and on what date. 11)Tasy - defect reason raised will require a translator unless you are fluent in Portuguese. 12) some projects require late night support. 13) not sure about other team but managers(Tasy) are inexperienced here and sometimes I see architect reports to manager. Analyst becomes lead and technologist 2 is working under analyst. Very different and complex to understand your job role. they claim flat structure but hierarchy and commanding is still persistent. Agile/scaled agile etc defination has been redefined.

... and the hike is also very low compared to other companies.. Go for a startup .. Most of them even offer better salary than Philips ... And you will get to learn a lot...

you get to work with some very talented and down to earth people who are always there to help you. You get a very good work life balance and it is very less that you will be overloaded with the work. You also get decent career growth .

Compensation is less in comparison to another companies with same level of experience. Travel opportunities are very less.

...rned before coming to Philips. Job security after Covid - 2022 has become worse. They pay you well, but you will be in a shock once they inform you that you have notice period left and to search outside. The reason for lay-off or firing they give is organizational restructuring, but still they hire which is really confusing.
