New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. Work Life balance is good as far as your manager is friendly and you have a good understanding with your manager. Otherwise, upper management is brutal, requests managers to micro-manage their reportees and often the management personnel tend to call out people and shame them in front of everybody in the meeting.

...romotions, hikes everything. Its better to work as a herd under your shepherd. They will regularise your salary on the basis of your team members and how much they earn, if you're already earning more than them, then you might get minimal hike, irrespective of your ratings.
