Work pressure was less. Out of 3 years, they kept me in Internal project for 1.5 years. And initial training was going on and on for 6-9 months without any planning and finally got assigned in a non-related technology. Nobody had any clue how their career graph would go. Only good thing is many people got onsite opportunities if they had waited.

Dislikes

...keep them idle. They terminate people as and when needed. Worst management ever. They will literally give no hike every year. And company is full of zero Technical Leads and Managers. Hence it couldn't sustain and had to be sold to Igate and then Capgemini. My experience was terrible and told the same in my exit interviews as well.

Likes

BPO operations don't have much to learn and monotonous work. Compensation too low for Freshers, for mid level it's okay but it puts in comfort zone.

Dislikes

Work pressure and volume varies too much. Some has an hour work out of whole shift and some do 8 hours work in the same band and same salary.

Good Company to Work with. Good work Exposure,Good Colleagues and Management ,Skilled people came across.Good Learning experience. Good Onsite Opportunities came across.

Dislikes

Some Management people were sitting with their god fathers who provide them better Opportunities . Some of them assigned projects which does not have skills and forced to work to work on it if not done it would impact your Appraisals.

As started working with Patni computer later its become iGate patni. Patni computer was providing good Variable, Once Patni become IGate patni variable was stoped.

It was great working experience with people there and found but political environment.i was still new and not went through all angles to find more.but working environment and IT guys i found very interesting as they share knowledge exchange of ideas..etc...

Dislikes

Trainings were very few.job satisfaction different from one to other as IT guys need to sit at bench for sometime as they get frustrated during that time.appraisal system not making much difference.innovation was good since there were different groups and backgrounds of people and work life balances are fine too as most of IT companies does the same having flexible working hours and Patni does too..
