No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

...d Work Culture: Excellent Management: Team management differs from team to team. considering salary dividing into different sections (house rent, medical, transport, tax cut, etc.) is not good for me right now, but in the future, it may be fine enough. Company Politics: In general, there exists some level (maybe zero) of politics in almost every company. So, Pathao may also, but I did not face such any yet that hurts me. Facilities: Transportation, employee promo usage through Pathao App, medical insurance, meal allowance, etc.

...t it is true that the team has to fix, rewrite, and restructure its internals. Salary/appraisal: In my case, I don't like it. I can't say that it is true for all. Work environment: I would say to improve cross-team communication.
