Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

get to learn in every aspect of office because except your work profile you are made to do all jobs, and that makes you all rounder.

Dislikes

As it is ashram, as they say, the employees are underpaid, and in name of karma yoga you are asked to do the work free which improves your skill and prepare you to live in worst condition and poverty. Again this teaches you life skills. And their are benefits of karma yoga.
