Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The company is good to work, with maximum support from management and team. Work-Life balance is great specially for female employees giving equal growth opportunities to all. In Pansari, we live like family, we celebrate together and our management will do activities towards benefits of our team.

Dislikes

The working days are 6 and we are completely work from office. Atleast alternate Saturdays would be OFF's, and we have to go with hybrid mode.
