I was getting 15.2 LPA in my previous org and now i am being offered 29.5 LPA but the designation is 1 position lower than what i was in my previous org. Should i go ahead with the offer or still negotiate on designation. Protip : i was laid off in my previous org.

It is a small chartered accountancy firm run by 2 partners. Both are very experienced CA's. They mostly are engaged with audit of private companies and their tax returns. Very few articles and semi qualified work in the organisation. The partners are very supportive and guide every one in the firm through audit, work life balance, day to day administration of the firm, etc. It is situated near Andheri east railway station in mumbai. They are also engaged in outstation audits. Articles can get the hang of an audit in much detail as compared to big firms. Those who love to do audits can prefer to join.
