New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

I spoiled 2 years of my job carrier.

Dislikes

Company became Lunatic. Last two months Salary not received. FFS not done by HR. Upto date PF not deposited by HR due to which till date I am unable to receive my PF money. Overall I spent above two years of time in such a fraud company.

I have learnt lots from Pan Card Club Ltd. and gained strong experience as Administrator + Leader + Coordinator + Auditor of Hotel/Resort Operations Setup + Control + Inspection and controlling 30 Hotels in India. Second point is Pan Card is having Hotels/Resorts from 1 Star to 5 start so and receiving good experience to work with all category employees

Only problem is last almost 8 years I am roaming around India and visiting to all hotels and staying in Hotel for setup + Control + Inspection from 1 week to 3 months as per requirement therefore and looking for one place stable job. Due to outstation Food & water & climate is affecting to health that is why looking for change then also if opportunity is excellent with facilities then no issue to for Roaming to India & world because ultimately work is worship .
