Outlook as a publishing house is very good. The editors were mostly good, barring a few old ones. Overall the exposure I got over here was very good.

Dislikes

...was that the work culture was at times toxic, especially during production days. Also the salary gets credited on the 9th of every month, which was again a disadvantage but still workable (at least it came).

This whole company is a scam.They promised that they will pay 25k for 3 months but in the end they just paid nothing. In 3 months of internship they only give 5 online classes. There was no practical work,only theory they had done. If you text the mentor about any doubt that mentor don't reply neither he calls back. Please don't choose this company for internship or for jobs.

The overall experience was ok, not something to be very proud of. The quality of learning involved during the whole tenure was also limited and coordinating with the reporting manager was not very frequent. There are weekly meeting to gauge the progress on the projects.

Dislikes

...g manager was helpful in my case and would deal individually if the need arises. Salary and incentives were not unto the industry standards. The work pressure was manageable and one wouldn't complain much in it.

The colleagues in Outlook were very good!

The working environment in Outlook is very bad, I was working on weekends and even some times more than my working hours. The managers are not cooperative, even it's look like that these people are working to harass their juniors. I am very much disappointed. I had worked there more than 1 year, but these guys had not change my designation and they had not given me conformation letter. so, these things forced me to leave Outlook. I hope if you guys will join so, be vigilant about it. I don't want anyone to spoil their future like me. Thank you!

I thoroughly enjoyed my internship, it was very valuable experience under my belt. I know this will help when looking for jobs and needing references. I was dreading it in the beginning, but now I am so happy it was required. Internships are also a great way to build network.I learned that sales is hard and it basically needs a good technique .
