New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

There is nothing good things in this cheap company. Mukeshs salary affordance level is very low and very toxic in nature. Very cheap company and very horrible work culture is there.A total scam—nothing but lies and false promises.Complete disaste. Don't go for job here.

This company is a joke—utterly incompetent and arrogant. Don’t trust them with anything.Pathetic company with laughable products/services. Go anywhere else. They are not even allowed to eat food(tiffin) in their company. Very cheap metality, Toxic work culture, affordance level is ZERO.

Nothing to like about this company accepts the friends I made in this company

Dislikes

No proper company policy They make you do illegal work The CEO harass all the employees CEO has 0 technical knowledge The HR makes fake promises while interview They don't have proper leave policies They don't even have proper break time. The CEO insults employee every day. The work culture is very toxic. HR ask money from employees to celebrate CEO's birthday. There are cockroaches everywhere in office. They don't provide sick leaves. They don't provide even tissue. They don't allow you to talk with anyone. They even put lights and AC off and gives the reason that it cost too much. The CEO's wife keeps eye on everyone. Time was 10-7 bt they make you work till 8-9. Every Saturday they take party from the employees. They force employee to do sale. There is no room for improvement.
