Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Pay is Decent, if you are good with manager and he likes your work you might get twice or thrice hike in an year

Dislikes

...ers, I use to attend client calls in the evening which goes till 8PM sometimes..and there won't be any recognization or compensation for late night work . Office infrastructure is worst BPO startups looks better than this company
