Work life balance was good as people really respected everyone’s personal space and no one disturbed anyone during weekends. Some of the benefits like relocation allowance , medical , accident cover, severance pay , travel allowance to ensure safety of female staff was ensured which many Indian non-profits don’t care.

Some of the most brain dead and useless people are working in that organisation. People who have no experience about education sector in developing and underresourced communities are working in the mid- management or senior level which affects customer service and the products developed are in sharp contrast with what school heads want. No planning or seriousness is shown before launching a program in a new market which ends up in a complete flop show. Worse when the flop show happens then people who work in the field are fired even though all the wrong decisions were taken by managers who did not listen to the field staff beforehand. Customer service is a serious joke . There is no culture of working on feedback or valuing people’s opinion who are experienced and can predict what can go wrong. Education manager is not passionate about education sector and is more bothered with numbers and scale apart from giving laughable products to clients. Worse if someone comes up with better solution, such people are neither appraised nor are they given any professional development to raise up the ladder. A culture of mediocrity is celebrated in the Education Quality department with mediocre people’s work being saved and experienced people being either put on performance improvement plan or fired when the education program has to be closed in a particular country.
