A GOOD TEAM OF EMPLOYEES HAVING 100% JOB SECURITY. HANDSOME SALARY WITH CARRIER GROWTH OPPORTUNITY TRAINING POLICY IS ALSO VERY GOOD.

...ny having world level targets. collective efforts for achieving any set target. salary and allowances are comfortable.

Dislikes

Motivational methods like promotion etc. are de-railed and needs to be corrected in line with best available policies in world level companies. work life balance to be improve. Minimum political interference, is the need of the hour.

You can learn a lot in your initial career & can get a handsome salary but as you will proceed further in your career you will eventually end up in a monotonous job especially in operation; where you will feel stress without any reason. There is a great disparity in work culture and type of work in different sections of the organization. Transfers in the organization are utterly poor, and some locations are exceptionally worst and you won't be able to find a good medical service.

Dislikes

Very few have a sense of ownership, stagnation, an appraisal is not linked with your performance, the work environment was good but now worst, no one talks about innovation, work-life balance is worst in operation, worse in O&M, and superb in Non-O&M. A career in NTPC & BHEL is not promising.

Salary was really good. Perks like accommodation, Electricity and 24hrs water supply free of cost. In campus good Canteen, general stores. Strict work timing as per the contract. Time to time celebrations creating a friendly environment for the employees.

Dislikes

TOO MUCH politics inside the company. Rude behaviour of (Some) Permanent employees to Contract workers, temporary workers. In charges not speaking up for you safety or not taking your side even if you are right just because you are a temporary worker/on contract. Unions work for the permanent workers and not for the contact based people.

...low self proclaimed so called best HR practices. But ground reality is opposite. They recently started hiring lateral experienced engineers in low level giving low salary but make them work every possible way.
