Likes

Few best things about Novartis are the work life balance, pay parity policies, and company culture. It might be a good fit for someone experienced in their domain. Overall outlook is great with solid and innovative pipeline. CEO is moving the organization in right direction with unbossed philosophy and open culture.

Despite the benefits and positive outlook, I would like to highlight that growth is relatively slow and compensation is above industry median only.

1. TFG - Heavy cost-cutting. Clearly visible in various aspects 2. Sandoz division spin-off 3. Too much hiring from some orgs (ZS, IQVIA). People from those places bring & spread their toxic servicing client mentality (especially for IQVIA). Eventually this led to some sort of micro-management. 4. No free food. Paid food is overpriced and has no taste No cab for regular shift people. 5. SNOW - pathetic project creation tool. 6. Productivity goes for a toss as there are so many formalities 7. Promotion can be biased. have seen people climbing the ladder by organizing events.

It's been 4 months since i joined this company. And i am already fed up. They demand you to work like machine on less salary. You have your own work but manager passes on his work also to you. There is nothing like work life balance here. Only work is all that you have here even after office hours you only have work to think about. So much pressure they put upon you. You are also responsible for the things that are not under your control. If your only life goal is to work like machine with no personal life then you can go for this company. And if you are the type of person who prefers peace over money then please stay away from this.

Work Pressure is comparatively Less as compared other peer organizations. Work Life Balance is quite High and Compensation is Good.

Dislikes

The urgency in reaching the Deadline seems to be lacking with most of the projects and initiatives gets extended from the original plan.
