Your career growth/advancement is going to be very highly dependent on the relationship of your reporting manager as well as their favorites due to favoritism, clannism and regional preference, leading to a rat race and very cutthroat working environment. Leadership/management team are so full of incapable people as long as one has the gifts of the gab which is highly regarded in Novartis at the cost of gullible associates.
