NT is a good platform to start on career as a fresher. The work culture and atmosphere is excellent, team leaders and managers are very transparent which helps partners to develop their performance . It gives opportunity to every partner to exhibit their skills and talent. Training sessions and L&D will be most frequent which helps every partner to enhance their knowledge apart from BAU. Career growth is good. Appraisals are not that great.

Career growth is more partial comparatively and its too slow. Compensation is also not that great. There is no proper on the job training by the seniors most commonly they make the newly process learners to train wherein they will only be having very few knowledge about the process which leads to more errors and time consuming for both analysts and senior analyst.

Northern Trust is the first company I started my career with and it’s been great. I have about 6 years of experience at Northern Trust. The most I like about this company is, it has the best work-life balance, employee engagement, work culture and stability towards your job security.

Dislike about Northern Trust - I don’t have any. Apart from the pay scale. A bit less than the other companies, but value for work.

Worst management I have ever seen in my career. I joined Northern Trust for work life balance and work culture but unfortunately both of them are missing. Capacity is not as per the marked and I was short of 2 resources in 15 months career with NT. There is nothing like polices in NT. HRA is complete popet of management. Please think twice before joining this worst bank. They can through you out without any notice and they have done same thing with many new joiners. As a Bank Northern Trust is not performing good and recently their admin decided to cut 4300 roles in June 2023 because of Banks performance. This is not right time to join NT as I have seen most of the client are leaving NT because of poor performance.
