Everything except work. Lots of politics & favourism. No job security they layoffed 60% employes in April 23 with no compensation and named it team optimisation.

...ines they stretch extensively each year and delays the payment, really not good. But the best part is, whatever is your salary structure, you will get the max amount in hand as the bonus amount is quite low, with which max companies play around saying a huge CTC package including high bonus, but you get little amount in hand. In this respect Cognizant is quite good and very clear in respect of salary components and their structure

Dislikes

Each year the increment timelines get delayed and stretched extensively without any reason. I also think Cognizant has slowed down recently in terms of promoting people on due course of time as a result of which many good resources are leaving. The salary bracket can also be increased

The company all over is good. The Work Culture is good, Employee friendly environment, haven't faced job security issues. Work pressure depends on the projects

Compensation is decent, but career growth is slow. Hikes are below average.

Likes

No job security, Company doesn't give full salary and even you work for more than 12 hrs and your targets are not achieved (which is near to impossible as they are setup that way) you will be marked as absent on the day. No growth. Process is totally unstable and you will feel like you might have made a mistake. Hr never receives the calls.

Dislikes

Everything especially job security and company's policy on attendance and hence the fixed income.

I just simply say please avoid joining this company they just hire for there work once their work is done even though you're a best performer they will fire you there is Ntg likes to work in this company

Office timings, there will be no personal life will not pay you what you earned in incentives, will give fake data of your performance, fake report, ineffective MIS team
