GF salary Vs. My salary
Me and my gf have been dating for 5 years. Back in 2020, I started my career with a package of ₹5 LPA. Over the years, I’ve reached ₹22 LPA in 2025. She started her journey with ₹3 LPA(2020) and is now earning ₹8 LPA(2025). We’ve been in a live-in relationship for around 2 years, and the idea was to share expenses equally. But, equal sharing never really happened. If we go to a café she likes, especially with friends, I will pay the entire bill. We only split the house rent and grocery bills. I told her lots of time to cut down these costly cafe expenses or earn more money, increase your package, study and work hard, but.....she is now in her comfort zone. Being from a tech background, I have seen people upgrade their skills and package for a good life in metro cities. I am ready to support her in her studies, but she is like I am earning enough for myself.... No, you are not. I love her, but I don't know how to overcome this issue between us. Please suggest!

Salary getting credited on time

Dislikes

Biased managers,politics,product having no plan for future due to which restructuring keeps happening.Recently several folks were laid off.Any projevt might stop at any time.Leadership in tech changed last year some supermanagers left post which things have gone for toss.

Timely salary credit. Some smart people in pockets of the org.

Dislikes

No tech-driven culture or developer-first mindset. Decisions are largely business-driven, with minimal regard for engineering quality or best practices. Poor planning leads to sudden project cancellations or reassignments. Limited growth opportunities for developers. Lack of product vision or stability in long-term projects.

1. Decent Job 2. Decent Talent in company 3. Work culture is improving but not there yet

Dislikes

...panding and a clear path for growth not visible here for next 3 years atleast 6. Company didn't pay out competitive increments and annual bonus where in many cases they paid out peanuts in 2023 7. External hiring is promoted compared to internal promotions 8. Organizational restructuring keeps happening every quarter leading to mis management 9. Even though it's a startup there's surprisingly a lot of bureaucratic process leading to slow delivery to clients 10. Company doesn't keep good focus on employee feedback and even when they do, they don't act promptly or satisfactorily on it.
