New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

We get job security in this company. Management is good . But I find some issue regarding company policy. Job satisfaction is kind of personal think me, opinion about it may be different for everyone.

It has being a great experience working at Newel Technologies as I got to learn from scratch regarding product development . I joined as a fresher and with the help of my supporting seniors got to learn various things in programming . All the members have positive attitude towards work . There were times when I was a little depressed at start as it was a new thing for me working in IT industry and was new to adapt it but due to proper guidance from my seniors and opportunities given by them in Live project I succeeded my goals of becoming a software developer .

Dislikes

Some downside might be like in other companies here there are not festival celebration gathering events which can be ignored as it might be due to following Covid-19 rules and regulations for the safety of members working in the company .

Entire Newel Team is very friendly. You can ask any kind of help from the team at any time, and team is there for you. Even in pandemic situation company has given full salaries to employees no any salary deduction.
