New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. The company is open to new ideas and suggestions. They offer you a very good pay. I was lucky to have a good friendly and helping team at my branch. The training they give opens your mind in ways you never knew existed.

Dislikes

Sometimes because of a poor team leader, the whole work atmosphere gets discouraging and frustrating. Career growth as far as I saw was only company related. They don't care about your personal growth as an individual. The work timings and "take home work" leaves you with all work no play kind of life.

There's nothing to be liked working here.

Dislikes

The designation is a sham. They make you a parrot and you have to repeat the script towards the clients. There is no growth here as a clinical psychologist. The work that has veen handed over is more of the work done by Child Psychologist. You cannot apply your own knowledge or your own techniques to anything.
